Robert Wolfe Construction & Cafe Hope Team Team Up!

Every opportunity to uplift the community is an investment in a brighter future!

Robert Wolfe Construction is excited to team up with Cafe Hope for renovating their building stemmed from a profound commitment to community enrichment and empowerment. Recognizing Cafe Hope’s pivotal role in nurturing at-risk youth through culinary education, Robert Wolfe Construction saw an opportunity to contribute it’s own expertise and resources towards a meaningful cause. By revamping Cafe Hope’s infrastructure,  we aimed not to just to refurbish a physical space but to catalyze a transformational environment that fosters learning, growth, and empowerment.

Cafe Hope's Mission

Café Hope unlocks the potential in New Orleans’ young adults by providing them with pathways to professional and personal growth. By equipping students with workforce training , empowering them with life skills, and providing them with compassionate support and advocacy, we are building a stronger workforce, a more resilient community, and a better future.

Robert Wolfe Construction Commitment To Local Non Profits

Robert Wolfe’s inclination toward working with non-profits and giving back to the community is deeply rooted in our hearts. Our passion for supporting non-profits stems from a genuine desire to make a meaningful impact beyond financial gains. We are proud to say we won the job by bidding OVER $500k under the next closest bidder. Even with this initial money set aside, we still had work to do to gap the massive shortfall in money needed to complete the project.

Helping unlock almost one million in tax credits

Credit goes to Café Hope’s historic tax credit consultant James Rolf,  the city of Gretna and state cooperation. The Cultural Historic District was created which allowed the project to benefit from almost $1,000,000 in tax credits. These tax credits helped close the gap on the funding shortfall and helping green-lighting the project to start!

Client Testimonial Sent To Us On Thanksgiving

“Holidays give me time to pause and reflect on my life.  This Thanksgiving morning is no different. This morning I am filled with gratefulness. I am Grateful for all of the blessings that God has sent into my life, that includes each of you. I’m not sure I could have made it through the last two years without the support, encouragement and empathy received from all of you and I wouldn’t be as excited about the future of Cafe Hope without y’all.  I truly believe the best is yet to come!!  I mean Dion Sanders says so….”if the building looks good (and it does!!), the employees will feel good, if employees feel good, their work will be good, if their work is good, our graduates will be really good!! OK, Ok maybe Dion didn’t say that exactly but you get the point. I consider each of you a part of the Cafe Hope family.  Thank you for keeping this mission alive.”

Much Love and Respect!!
